Shelter: Bag Lunches for the Surge Shelter

Provide boxed lunches for individuals exiting the CARITAS Surge Shelter. This emergency response shelter provides additional capacity to support individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness in the Greater Richmond region during extreme weather this winter. It will operate from December 1 through March 31. he Surge Shelter has the capacity to serve up to 70 individuals. 

These lunches can be prepared and dropped off any day during the work week between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. 

Easy Menu Suggestions...

Sandwich or Wrap: PB & J, Ham, Turkey, Club, Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad
Fresh Fruit: Orange, Apple, Banana
Crunchy Snack(1) Bagged chips, pretzels etc. and Sweet Snack (1): Granola Bar, Muffin, etc.
Beverage: Water (preferred), Gatorade, Juice
